ABOUT

Who are we?

We are a collective voice against gun crime amongst young people in the UK.

Our hope is that with enough voices, our positive message of peace will echo louder than the gun shots that are claiming more and more bright futures and young lives in the UK every year.

We want people of every age, class, race and religion to join us in a movement that has only one condition of entry: To be human.

We need support on a journey that is about fighting in Peace’s corner by using fashion to spread a positive ethos to inspire young people to Put the Gun Down.

We want this movement to create a dialogue between young people about gun crime, between themselves, their families, teachers and friends.

When carrying a gun is more commonplace than carrying a briefcase, when it becomes the way of things, this negative ‘It is what it is’ mentality marks a stubborn stain on urban youth culture that is difficult to shift.

By unleashing a militia of positive ideology, we can remind young people that they have the power and the freedom to define themselves.

But a mug shot, a criminal record or a 6ft hole in the ground takes that power and that freedom away.
Our plan is to donate a percentage of the proceedings of The Peace Tee sales to a charity called ‘Mothers Against Violence’ which deals with mothers who have lost children to gun crime.
